Kelsie Jeannot

About me

Kelsie is an avid diver, outdoor enthusiast, and open water scuba instructor who is well acquainted with the cold waters of Atlantic Canada. Originally from Nova Scotia, Kelsie spent ten years away where she learned to dive in Newfoundland and was spoiled with the pristine visibility, whales, icebergs, and WWII shipwrecks. Newfoundland became home base while she spent her time working in ocean sciences, travelling, and of course diving in as many locations as possible!

While the sharks of Costa Rica and cenotes of Mexico are nice and warm, cold water diving provides an abundance of opportunity. From the arctic circle in Norway, the continental divide in Iceland, to both East and West Canadian coasts, the cold water realm is where you will most often find her exploring.

Kelsie is passionate about environmental conservation, enjoys introducing people to the local dive sites, and sees every course taught as a new group of dive buddies to adventure with. When she is not at the shop, you are likely to find her in the water on our weekly club dives helping newly certified divers become more comfortable in the water.
