Dive with the East Coast Scuba & Watersports community year round, warm and comfortable in a dry suit! Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air. During your drysuit course, your instructor will teach you how to control the air in your drysuit along with your buoyancy. You'll also learn about different types of drysuits, basic drysuit repairs and maintenance.

To enroll in the PADI Dry Suit Diver specialty course, you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. If you are interested in earning the drysuit specialty certification during your Open Water Diver course, talk to your instructor. To earn the drysuit specialty certification you will need to make one additional dive after your Open Water Diver certification.
