About me: Inspired by my dad, I began diving at age 12 in May 1995. Once certified I started diving and have not stopped since and am still diving with my dad who is very much an active diver. Eventually I turned to the professional side of diving by becoming a Divemaster and then Instructor. Being a PADI professional finding great reward in teaching both new and experienced divers. Diving has gone hand in hand with my professional and academic life as an archaeologist with a strong lean toward maritime and underwater archaeology. Over my diving career, I have had the fortune to dive in many different parts of the world. My most favorite dive has been while working on an 1st century Roman shipwreck in Spain. Shipwrecks, whether ancient or modern, have always been my passion.
