Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI)

OWSI If you like people, have a passion for scuba diving and want an extraordinary life - become a PADI Instructor. Teaching scuba diving allows you to share your love of the aquatic world with others while doing what you enjoy - being in, around and under water. PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors are the most sought-after dive professionals around the world because they've completed the program that sets the standard for training dive professionals.

About me

A childhood fascination with the underwater world led me to pursue an open water scuba certification while still in my teens.  A couple of decades passed. Then, in 2012, a snorkeling excursion in the Bahamas re-ignited that dormant passion, leading me back to another open water scuba course. A dive vacation in the Caribbean that same year sealed my fate.  I was hooked… again!!  Now, with hundreds of dives, 15+ PADI Specialty certifications, Master Scuba Diver, Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor… I still can’t get enough.  I enthusiastically share my passion for sharks, rays, turtles, videography, and the underwater world with anyone who will listen.  While I will always be enamored with exploring tropical dive locations, I am also captivated by the beauty and diversity of marine life along Canada’s East Coast. Borrowing from Ringo Starr … “I’d like to be, under the sea, in an octopus’s garden, in the shade…” and capture every second of it on video every chance I get!  Join me on my next adventure.
